Temple Knights Return to the AAAA Speech Contest

On Saturday, October 15,  sixteen students from Temple Intermediate took part in a speech contest hosted by the Asian-American Advocacy Alliance (AAAA).  The competition took place at the Walnut City Hall and the topic was: "How Will Artificial Intelligence Affect the Future of Education?"

There were close to thirty participants in the Middle School Division representing schools throughout Southern California. When all was said and done, Temple Intermediate took home an assortment of awards. Eighth-grader,  Emily Huang won 2nd place overall!! Five students earned special distinction with the Awards of Excellence: Evangelyn Au, Alyssa Mendoza, Annahi Tejada-Lomeli, Kaylee Tran, and Anson Thong.

Our Temple Intermediate Family is beyond proud of all of our participants. Furthermore, we want to express our sincerest appreciation for our teachers who coached our Temple Knights in preparation for the contest: Mrs. Anderson, Mr. Diep, Ms. Tam, and Mrs. Ortega. This was an all-around team effort and success.  KNIGHTS R.I.D.E!!!
