On Saturday May 9th, the Temple Academic Competition Team (TACT) participated in the Math Field Day Competition at Mark Keppel High School. They were coached by Mr. Anthony Ha, a veteran Math teacher at Temple Intermediate.
These Temple students did our whole learning community proud by placing 2nd in the Math Jeopardy event, and placing 3rd in the Math Finals!
One of the most impressive details of their performance was that our Temple team was comprised of 7th grade students, while most of their opponents from neighboring school districts were 8th graders! We are very excited about the current status and the future of our Temple Academic Competition Team. Congratulations to the whole team and their coach, Mr. Ha!
