SCHOOL CLOSURE & MEAL SERVICE (1/10) 

Dear Garvey Parents/Guardians,

I hope you and your family are doing well. 

Due to the unhealthy air quality, to ensure the safety of students and staff, all Garvey School District schools will remain CLOSED TOMORROW (Friday, January 10, 2025). 

We will RESUME SCHOOL on MONDAY, January 13, 2025. We will keep you updated should there be any changes. 

To support our families and community during the school closure, the District will provide a complete breakfast and lunch meal for all children ages 18 and under. Meals will be distributed through a Drive-Through Service or Walk-Up Grab & Go Pick Up Method tomorrow, Friday, January 10, 2025, from 7:30-11:30 a.m. at the following location.

Children ages 18 and under do not need to be physically present for either method and do not need to exit the vehicle. Children do not need to be Garvey School District students to receive meals. All meals must be taken and eaten off site; there will be no congregating at this location.

CIERRE DE ESCUELA Y SERVICIO DE COMIDA (1/10)

Estimados padres o tutores de Garvey,

Espero que ustedes y sus familias estén bien.

Debido a la calidad del aire insalubre, para garantizar la seguridad de los alumnos y empleados, todas las escuelas del Distrito Escolar Garvey permanecerán CERRADAS MAÑANA (viernes 10 de enero de 2025).

Reanudaremos las clases el LUNES 13 de enero de 2025. Los mantendremos informados en caso de que haya algún cambio.

Para apoyar a nuestras familias y comunidades durante el cierre de escuelas, el Distrito proporcionará un desayuno y almuerzo completo para todos los niños menores de 18 años. Las comidas se pueden recoger en automóvil (Drive-Through) o caminando (Walk-Up Grab & Go) mañana, viernes 10 de enero de 2025, de 7:30 a 11:30 a. m. en el siguiente lugar:

ĐÓNG CỬA TRƯỜNG HỌC VÀ DỊCH VỤ BỮA ĂN (1/10)

Kính thưa Phụ huynh/Người Giám hộ của Garvey,

Tôi hy vọng quý vị và gia đình đều khỏe.

Do chất lượng không khí không tốt cho sức khỏe, để đảm bảo sự an toàn cho học sinh và nhân viên, tất cả các trường học thuộc Học khu Garvey sẽ ĐÓNG CỬA VÀO NGÀY MAI (Thứ Sáu, ngày 10 tháng 1 năm 2025).

Chúng tôi sẽ TIẾP TỤC HỌC LẠI VÀO THỨ HAI, ngày 13 tháng 1 năm 2025. Chúng tôi sẽ cập nhật cho quý vị nếu có bất kỳ thay đổi nào.

Để hỗ trợ các gia đình và cộng đồng trong thời gian trường học đóng cửa, Học khu sẽ cung cấp bữa ăn sáng và bữa ăn trưa đầy đủ cho tất cả trẻ em từ 18 tuổi trở xuống. Các bữa ăn sẽ được phân phát thông qua Dịch vụ Lái xe qua hoặc Phương thức Đi bộ Nhận hàng Lấy và Mang Đi vào ngày mai, Thứ Sáu, ngày 10 tháng 1 năm 2025 từ 7:30 – 11:30 sáng tại địa điểm sau.

Trẻ em từ 18 tuổi trở xuống không cần phải có mặt trực tiếp cho cả hai phương pháp và không cần phải ra khỏi xe. Trẻ em không cần phải là học sinh của Học khu Garvey để nhận bữa ăn. Tất cả các bữa ăn phải được lấy và ăn ở ngoài địa điểm này; sẽ không được tụ tập tại địa điểm này.
